Pressing
 on to
Perfection

Since its inception, the church was meant to be a spiritual family, not a business, organization or religious social club.

And as in any family, what is most important is the presence of both unity and love.

Therefore, the success of a church should never be based upon the size of its congregation or building, its leadership structure, the method or style of preaching, the quality of music, the amount of money in the bank, or its glamorous or trendy appeal to the younger generation.

We believe that the health of a local church is first determined by the personal growth of its members in their awareness of God’s perfect love for them, their inner devotion to Jesus and passion for His name, loving obedience to the “one another” commandments in the New Testament—first in the home and then in the church, and the continual presence of Christ whenever they gather together.

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

The word “BASIC” in our name is an acronym which stands for: brothers and sisters in Christ. We are a growing group of disciples from all walks of life and ethnicities, who are seeking to be a living expression of Christ first with our individual lives, secondly in our homes, thirdly in our workplace, and fourthly in the community.

RECENT MESSAGES

"And my message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God."-Paul (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)

WHAT TO EXPECT

We believe in meeting regularly as Scripture commands us to in order to build one another up in faith (Hebrews 3:13). Although this can include things like visiting each other in our homes, supper dates or sharing a coffee, we have also set aside specific meeting times during the week.
